Diploma in Audio Engineering
Audio engineers are used in the installation,design, and/or operation of sound recording or sound broadcasting equipment. Often employed in recording studios, audio engineers apply these skills in recording,editing, mixing and mastering sound in order to create the final, finished product. Audio engineers may also be used in fields such as movie and television sound production, advertising,and multimedia projects.An audio engineer will usually be trained in the use of arious sound equipment including mixer consoles,signal processors, microphones, tapedecks, digital audio applications,and speaker systems.
Audio Engineering
The Audio Engineering Diploma programme
offer students the opportunity to
study all aspects of audio engineering. It
is designed to train future professionals
for the audio and media industries. Practical
classes and hands-on studio time
are supported with theoretical classes,
giving students thorough knowledge of a
broad range of audio related issues.
Course Duration
Diploma in Audio Engineering Course is
arranged in such a manner that the Second
batch starts in June 2010 and ends in
May 2011. Theory, practical, Training
classes, workshops are all included
in this one year period.
Classes start from 9.00 am and end at
4.00 pm with a one hour lunch break
from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm.
Audio Engineering Technology
If you wish to combine your interest
in music with a technical career which
helps to work with sound systems, this
program is ideal for you. Audio Engineering
Technology combines coursework in
three disciplines: electronics, acoustics,
and music. After studying the fundamentals
of electronics, music theory, harmony,
and sound technology, students will
be prepared to enter career in recording
and sound, supervising installation of
equipment, and supporting the end users.
Possibilities include work in recording
studios, live environment, radio and
TV stations, audio equipment facilities,
and architectural consulting firms.

Minimum qualification:
+2 with 50% marks or govt. approved technical certificate or diploma. Those who await results can also apply. But they should produce original certificate at the time of interview.

Students who complete training
have to do a project independently
